[HELP] Problem with cisco 7940

When I connect it to the my network it seems to be stuck on "configuring IP"
Does anyone know what the problem could be? Im assuming its looking for Call Manager, and I am unable to change the settings through the phone since the configuration settings seem to be locked and I cannot change anything in the web GUI… Can anyone help me with this???

Depends a lot on which version you are using for the cisco…

Try unlocking the phone by going into the config and unlocking
it using **#
or using the password cisco in the unlock config
