Disable dialing number beep sound

Hi to all Spartans,

Everytime my Asterisk server connects me to a number it dials the outgoing number and i can hear the beep sound for each number digit being dialed by it.
I do not want to hear that beep sound i.e. i want to disable the beep sound of the dialing outgoing number.

I’d only expect this happen when outgoing to an FXO line. Is that the case?
