Zaptal 1.4.1 released!

The Asterisk and Zaptel development teams have released Zaptel version
1.4.1.

This release contains a number of new features, along with some minor
updates required for compatibility with Asterisk 1.4.2. The new features
include:

  • Support for the Digium Wildcard TE120P T1/E1/J1 card
  • Support for the Digium Wildcard TDM800P analog card
  • Support for the Digium Wildcard TC400B transcoder card
  • Support for the Digium High Performance software echo canceler (HPEC)
  • A major update of the Xorcom Astribank driver (XPP)

Thanks for supporting Asterisk and Zaptel!

Zaptel 1.4.1 with asterisk 1.4.2 still doesn’t work

I upgraded our system from asterisk 1.4.0 to 1.4.1 and our users could then not use DTMF over IAX. So I then upgraded our asterisk to 1.4.2 and we still had the same problem.Tonight I upgraded zaptel to 1.4.1 and it does not recognise zaptel at all.

I note that “make linux26” fails in zaptel 1.4.1 but I’m not sure that bares any significance.

I’ve rolled back to asterisk 1.4.1 with zaptel 1.4.0 and we’re living with the dtmf prob.

This is a quad xeon system with TE405P card

You guys are doing a great job, but there’s something wrong still

Many Thanks

What is Zaptal? :stuck_out_tongue:
