Thanks for your answer. Your example of the call is for counting the records. This is working just fine for me to. However, when I try to get the actual records it comes garbled. Looking at the source code and the actual records, it looks like it is getting the record from DNS, but does not parse it correctly. Have you actually received a record that you could call?
