Now, this might be a case of lightning doing its thing - But none of my other services where affected (BBand didnt even lose Sync) Any ideas if this is going to be a dead line card, or some other problem.
Anyway System Information~:

If you try and dial out you get a nice error:
– Executing Dial(“SCCP/6000-00000005”, “Zap/1/17070”) in new stack

== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/0/1)
Anyway zttools shows the line in a red alarm - the cable & line are ok.
Asterisk shows no channels in ‘show channels’
When you call the number attached to that line card it gives busy Asterisk has no idea about an incoming call.
If you remove the line from the card if rings and everything is fine - plug the ringing line back into the card and it goes off hook and the line is seized. This is the same result with the card in the server or in my hand out of the server. I don’t have another cable to test the passthrough port on the card.
So dose this look like somehting on the card has faild and caused a short (Iv’e had a good look at the card and dont see anything out of the normal - no burnt bits, etc) or is there another answer to this? The card was working last night when I called the office just after 22:00, but at about 22:30 there was a very local lightning strike - I had no need to use the phone until today, and then it didnt work.
I’m with the lightning damage, but just wondered if anyone had any other ideas or mathods I can test the card before I go off and look for another one.
Before re-booting the box I had a load of these errors in /var/log/messages - google was not a lot of help in so far as I could only get hit and miss answers as to how to fix it.
