X100P Wildcard not being initialised properly

Hello,

I’m running asterisk 1.4.22 on Debian Etch PPC. I bought a cheapy X100P FXO card in order to make PSTN calls. I’m having trouble getting this to work with zaptel 1.4.12.1. Syslog says:

Zapata Telephony Interface Registered on major 196
Zaptel Version: 1.4.12.1
Zaptel Echo Canceller: MG2
PCI: Enabling device 0001:11:02.0 (0004 -> 0007)
NOTICE-wcfxo: WCFXO/0: Unknown DAA chip revision: REVB=0
Failed to initailize DAA, giving up...
wcfxo: probe of 0001:11:02.0 failed with error -5

The Google says that this is probably due to an IRQ conflict, but I can’t see any devices with the same IRQ if I do ‘lspci -v’. I’ve tried the card in all the PCI slots and this makes no difference.

Can anyone help? Does anyone know if it is even possible to use this card in a Power PC machine (Power Mac G4)?

RESOLVED.

Hurrah! The answer was to remove the dual-head AGP graphics card and shove in an old PCI Rage 128.
