TE410P red alarm in all spans

Dear all,

We have a Digium card (TE410P), the card was in E1 mode.

The problem we are having is that the card always indicates red alarm.

We used the following configuration:
zaptel.conf

span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
bchan=17-31
span=2,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=32-46
dchan=47
bchan=48-62
span=3,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=63-77
dchan=78
bchan=79-93
span=4,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=94-108
dchan=109
bchan=110-124

here log from /var/log/asterisk/messages

Please, find us a solution for this problem as soon as possible.

Thank you

most probably the RED alarm means that you do not have a valid trunk connected
did you tried to use a loopback?

HTH,
Ioan.

hi:
try to check this:

  1. CRC4
  2. your physical connection(BNC/RJ45)

Hi Ioan,
thanks for your reply.
When i used loopback,the other end said nothing.
But when we used diode to test the signal coming from other end in the 1,2 pin,the result was positive.
Same as the test from our end in the 4,5 pin.

Are there any settings rather than zaptel.conf may solve this problem?

Please help!!!

well - please confirm that:

  1. when you put a loopback in one port of the TE410, the corresponding led turn green

if yes,
2. when you put your provider trunk in the same port what happened?

Till we do not have green leds on TE410 card we could not advance with other issues.

Hi indreias,

We move The card from PCI slot to another and all corresponding led turn green.
Thank for your posts.

Best Regards.
