Recent version for Windows?

Hello

I notice that AsteriskWin32 hasn’t changed since January and is based on Asterisk 1.0.10.

Is that the only version currently available for Windows? What are the technical reasons that keep Asterisk from being available on both platforms on the main site?

I’d much rather run the PBX software on Windows to avoid installing a Linux host just to run a few SIP extensions, but neither Yate nor Freeswitch seem ready for showtime.

It seems that it hasnt been updated in a log time. Probably because there isnt a big enough of a demand for it. If you are only going to have a couple of extensions you can put asterisk on a basic box. Or you can get a virtual server. It should handle it if you only have several extensions.
