Opus 1.3.1 for Asterisk

Hi,

Does anyone know when the Asterisk team will release support for Opus 1.3.1 or is there an alternative way of getting that support?

Wish their module was open-source but for some reason it doesn’t seem that it is.

I have no time frame on when Sangoma will release a new version of the codec_opus module. Is there something specifically you are wanting from it? More specifically, why do you want a build with 1.3.1?

Thanks for the quick answer! Version 1.3 contains a lot of improvements to sound quality with low bitrates, which we use. We would like to have those improvements so our users can benefit from them.

I’ve created an internal ticket for doing so, but I have no timeframe on when it will occur.
