Noise when reproducing alaw files

Hi,

I hear loud noises when asterisk tries to playback alaw audio files, like all-circuits-busy-now.ulaw (slin files are played back normally). There are no log error nor warnings.

Does anyone knows what could it be?

system info:
asterisk 1.6.0.2
dahdi 2.3.0.1
digium TE121 E1 card

A bug that was fixed a long time ago. You are using a very early minor release of a version that is no longer supported even for security fixes. I seem to remember that there was a bug with the A-Law codec at one time.
