We have recently installed a n asterisk server and we have both a tdm400p and a te205p the genzaptelconf command generates the default settings and installs the tdm400p card but this does nothing to see and install the te205p so long story short i need to get the t1/e1 card working and online so we can start to do tests with this how do i get this board to work?
You are better of manually configuring these cards. You need to edit /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf and /etc/zaptel.conf to configure the cards. Once you are done be sure to run ztcfg. You configuration depends on the number of channels, signalling you are using, and much more. Take a look at the links below for more info.
