Moving voice messages from one box to another?

I’m moving our Asterisk server from one machine to another in the same office. I’m doing a fresh install from source and will rebuild all the settings from hand (for my own edification). How can I move existing voice messages from the old box to the new one? Is it as simple as copying the .wav files from /var/spool/voicemail?

Should be enough copy the .wav and .txt files.

Yes it is. I replicate all the WAV and text files under the voicemail folders between all servers every minute using unison/rsync and it works great.
