Running on Asterisk 1.2 / ABE-B,
I like to play an announcement to the callers when they initially join the queue only once
I also currently have a periodic announcement playing ever 60 seconds.
I do not want to play the announcement outside the queue application b/c if the no agents are logon, I have the call sent somewhere else. So this one time announcement must be played once only when the queue is available.
Couldn’t find anything about queuestatus checking or something to play once right at the beginning in the queue.
I google around and there’s a “Join Announcement” feature that comes with Trixxboxx/free pbx build, but i’m not running those.
