How i can host asterisk server with openwrt on LinksysWRT54G

Hi,

i am traying to host asterisk server on my router, put i dont know where i can start. :question:
i have installed openwrt firmware in my router.

please anyone know how? help me. :bulb:

You will need to install asterisk packages on your OpenWRT router, too. IIRC, a Linksys WRT54G v1-v4 has 4/16MB Flash/RAM and that is pretty limited to host/run an Asterisk PBX system. You may want to do a search on OpenWRT forum about asterisk to find out more on how to install asterisk on a Linksys WRT54G.

I have a FON2100 and a Netgear WGT634U devices flashed with a self-built OpenWRT firmware with asterisk-1.6.x. On my FON2100 device, its 16MB RAM is barely enough to run asterisk. With a 32MB RAM and a USB2 port, my Netgear WGT634U device that boots off of an external USB partition has no problem to host/run asterisk-1.6.x.
