FXO USB device for asterisk?

I’m in the UK running asterisk-1.8.7.1 on Centos 6 on an emachines netbook. I want to connect this netbook to the PSTN (ordinary BT landline) for incoming calls, I can’t use an FXO pci card with a netbook so is there an FXO usb device that will work?

I think you will need to use ethernet (or a softphone).

Hi

use an external sip fxo gateway. spa3001 or the like should do it. this will remove any processing overheads on the netbook.
