Is is possible that FreePBX can do an auto-connection between extension to extension (ext) without dialing. For example, ext-100 can only dial ext 101. At anytime the ext-100 pickup the phone, he(she) dose not need to dial, but the phone connect to the ext-101 automatically, and vise versa; if ext 101 pick up the phone, it will connect to ext-100 automatically.

You could have this functionality with a Cisco Linksys ATA (like PAP2-T) using old style PSTN phones or Cisco Linksys SPA 9XX VoIP phones. The keyword is “hot line phone” implemented into the local dialplan (on ATA or VoIP phone) and have nothing to do with FreePBX/Asterisk dialplan.
