Digium phone internal web server doesn’t seem to work

I wanted to configure them via their built in web gui but am unable - the page only ever loads the title, and even then that’s intermittent.

I have been able to get the phone to load a custom config file from another LAN web host. I think configuring it as an endpoint would work on the phone but has anyone encountered this?

I’ve tried a full reset and a full power cycle. Same story.

How many (and which) browsers have you tried?

If it only loads the title (and even that is flaky), it’s usually not the config — it’s either firmware or browser related.

A few quick things to try:

  • Try a different browser (Chrome/Firefox/Edge)

  • Make sure you’re using plain HTTP, not HTTPS

  • Clear cache or use a private window

  • Check if the phone firmware is outdated and update it

Since it can pull a config from another web server, networking is clearly fine.

If the web UI still won’t load after a reset, I’d strongly suspect corrupted or very old firmware. A manual firmware reflash usually fixes this.
