Just wondering if anyone knows if or how soon Certified Asterisk will move to LTS 11? I would like to upgrade to an LTS release supporting Digium Phones but am hesitant to install 1.8 if 11 is in the works.
There’s a -cert of 11 on its way. Mainline 11 has support for Digium’s phones (DPMA) also (unlike 1.8 or 10 mainlines). We’ve not yet introduced new features for phones that have required changes to Asterisk 11 that would, in turn, necessitate their appearing only in a -cert branch of 11. So…mainline 11 is probably just fine for you.
