Asterisk Intigration with Custom CRM

Good day Forum,

I am hoping you could point me into the right direction.

I need to assist in a project to integrate asterisk with a custom CRM.

Which resources do I need to look at?

I have never worked with API’s before.

The functions they need is to be able to see who is calling and link the number to a client on the crm, they need to be able to make notes on crm side, record the call, and pickup the call from the CRM.

I would recommend creating an AMI listener that is watching for events from your PBX.

Where can I find any guides on doing that?

The wiki has links[1] to some information on AMI, including frameworks. Otherwise what exactly are you wanting from a guide?
