Asterisk-gui install on Asterisk 1.4.1

Hello,

I’ve got some strange behaviour trying to log-in using the asterisk-gui.
I first performed a clean installation of Asterisk 1.4.1 and added the samples. Then I went ahead and installed the Asterisk-gui and followed the installation steps line by line.

Now when I try to log-in to: x.x.x.x:8088/asterisk/static/con … stall.html ,
the page just reloads itself and forces me to enter the account details again.

Opening page to x.x.x.x:8088/asterisk/static/con … basic.html ,
brings me to the install.html page again.

Does anyone have an idea what might be happening here ?.

What are you seeing on the CLI? I had a similar problem because the system() app wasn’t enabled in modules.conf. If it goes back to install.htm is because one of the steps isn’t finished.

Thanks for the reply.

After I rebooted the system all was fine.
However… I am now struggling with the wizard “Step 2 of 7 - Local Extension Settings”. The “Next” button is greyed out.

I have no idea why that is happening.

Okay,

Remembered something from a little while ago (that’s how far back my memory works) … about using Firefox.

Opened the page in Firefox and wheee!!!
