I’m getting the following issue sporadically with 1.4.1 on SuSe 10.1:
Sometimes, irregularly, ComedianMail will not get my password which is reported back in the console as a null string which is incorrect. If I restart asterisk it works fine again with no adjustment to configuration. Then later on ComedianMail seems to get sluggish. When I send the response to “Mailbox?” there is a somewhat longer pause than usual, however it seems to get the mailbox number ok. Then the request for password comes, but again there is a longer delay than usual before the next step. If the password is not received correctly it will fail 3 times in a row and I am chucked off.
Generally if I stop and restart *, ComedianMail will become perky and responsive again. I can’t remember this happening in 1.4.0, just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing?
load average: 0.16, 0.20, 0.16, access is by dialup connection to tdm11b, time of day seems to provide no pattern.
