I’ve just added one of these WiFi devices to our network. The installation went fairly painlessly and I managed to upgrade the firmware and bootcode easily.
However, I soon noticed that the audio keeps breaking up immediately the LCD goes into shutdown. It doesn’t seem to matter how strong the wireless signal is. Press a key, the LCD comes back on and the sound comes back. For now, I’ve disabled the LCD shutdown but, knowing how poor the battery life is, I’d like to switch it back on again.
Ideas anyone?
