What is current status of fitting more that 1 TDM?

I have an installation with 6 incoming lines - so I need to use 6 FXO’s over 2 TDM’s - is this currently working - or will I have problems?

Hi,

Both Digium and sangoma have analog cards that handle upto 24 FXO ports. It is also more sensible to use one of these cards if you have not made your hardware purchase yet.

In their book Asterisk - the future of telephony (AsteriskTFOT.pdf) they sey that it is bad idea to put more then 1 card - because of interupts, timings etc.
Either 1 card with 24 modules or two computers - these are their suggestions.
