Voicemail to email - Postfix

Hello All.

I am already sending emails from asterisk to gmail accounts,
What I am trying to accomplish now is: Turn MWI off on the phone after listening the attached file on my email.
I am able to turn MWI off when listening the voicemail on the phone itself.

In order to get this done I guess the email account should send it back to asterisk server another notification (or email) to notify that the message was listened?

I am running Asterisk 14.5.0

The only possibility currently built in is to use the IMAP functionality in app_voicemail. It stores the voicemails themselves in an IMAP account and email client manipulation is then reflected in Asterisk. It’s not commonly used functionality though and may have problems.
