True Unified Messaging w/Asterisk

I already have Asterisk setup to email me voicemails, works great.

My question is, when I delete a voicemail in email, can it also delete it off of the Asterisk server, thus turning off the MWI light?

Is there any capabilities for back-and-forth communication through my email server to Asterisk?

sadly, this is not currently possible. Maybe in a few versions…

Maybe your questions will be answered with Asterisk 1.4
