Hello;
I have the strangest problem when I leave a message for an extension it registers that a message was left but when I go to retrieve the message.
I press 1 for new message it immediately tells me the menu options as if I just heared the message, but never plays the message.
Has anyone experienced this and know of an ansewer?

maybe some configuration missmatch
please post the config of a sip user and the incomming dialplan for that user, and the extension config to retrieve the messages.

sounds like you have a 0 byte message. have a look in /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/ then find the mailbox and have a check to see what files are there.
does this happen to all messages ? if it does then it amay be a code issue.
