If I am using searchcontexts=yes in 1.6.1, asterisk enforces unique mailboxes, regardless of whether they are in separate contexts. This is ok unless you have hundreds of users with identical extensions in multiple contexts. This is unfortunately unavoidable if you are transitioning your clients off of legacy phone systems and they require the same extensions.
My question is, is there a way around the unique mailbox requirement while using 1.6.1?
