Using OPUS codec in Asterisk 13

Hi guys,

I want to use the OPUS codec in Asterisk 13, (update we are using Asterisk version 13.11) but I don’t know if it is installed as a basic codec, or that I need to install it myself. Have been looking on the net, but can’t find much about it.

I know that ulaw, and alaw are basic codecs, but I guess OPUS isn’t right?
What would also the best way to install it if it is necessary.

OPUS is not included, later versions (maybe yours - I don’t know, it’s rather old) has the ability to select it in “make menuselect” which will then download and install it.
