Just an idea.
Why not have a spot where users can submit any apps they feel like sharing (with the appropriate “you grant public access blah blah blah” provisos of course)?
For example, I did a tweak to the Weather app that shows the date & time. Maybe someone else might find that useful? At least of an example of how to modify the sample code…
I suppose you could technically do it through this forum, with the “upload attachment” option.
