Is there a way to setup a computer (connected to a soft-modem to the telephone company and installed with asterisk), to handle all the incoming calls to my analog phone line ? please guide me through some of the configurations details…
I tried switchVOX and when i clicked on detect hardware, it is not detecting my modem [Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC’97 Modem Controller (rev 01)]. I’d assume that is the starting point to configure switchVOX.
Do I need any special hardware to do this ? or a normal soft-modem is enough to do this job ?
