I have my development environment in Asterisk-1.4.9 version. The latest release of Asterisk-1.4.11 seems like it has solved few bug issues. Are there any open issues with this release, can i upgrade to the latest version.
I think you can upgrade to 1.4.11 without problems.

I just upgrade a system from 1.4.1 to 1.4.11 and it worked like a charm. But it is always a good idea to make a backup before starting to update. And don’t run “make samples” because that will overwrite your current configuration files
You should upgrade libpri and zaptel as well.
first libpri
then zaptel
and finaly asterisk
