TE210P card seems to cause RAID failures on DL380G5

First off I am going to log a call with Digium on this as soon as I have the card serial number.

I’m running:

Asterisk 1.8.7.2
Dahdi 2.5.0.2
Libpri 1.4.12

I have a new 5th generation TE210P card installed in a HP Proliant DL380 G5.

When the card is inactive (no lights on the back) all is fine. The server runs forever.

When I activate the card via Dahdi settings within minutes disks start to fail on the Smart Array P400 controller. Different disks each but usually 2 disks in quick successful which brings down my 4 disk RAID5 set.

If I reboot with the TE210P active the same thing. If I remove the controller and boot the system all works fine with no problems.

I have check IRQ settings to make sure that the TE210P is hot sharing an IRQ with the RAID controller and it’s not. I’ve tried changing the IRQ settings for the TE210P but this makes no difference.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

leemason, I can honestly say that I’ve not seen anything like what you’ve described but I’m very curious. Pursuing the support case is the best course of action at this time, but I’ll try to watch for it.
