[Solved] Asterisk 1.4 Voicemail - Only Static

Hi all,
I just installed Asterisk 1.4 using AsteriskGUI 2.0 on my system. In- and outbound calls are working fine. However, when trying to leave voice-messages, only a short static gets recorded, no actual message :frowning:.

Any ideas as to what would cause this?

Luckily, I just figured out the solution (simple, really, but who knew!).

The default voicemail formats won’t work with IMAP (at least on my system). I had to change the line in voicemail.conf from
