At certain times, the time it takes * to connect a call to the pstn increases significantly.
Typically, by way of example, it takes five seconds or so to make my cellphone ring:
sip (polycom) —> asterisk (1.2.12.1) —> digium TE110p —> T1 (esf,b8zs - e&m)
When the connection times slow, it might take 28 seconds, and I have been told up to a minute to connect the call.
I have not had the opportunity yet to look around the system when this is happening, but would like to hear if anyone has experienced this.
It is not related to multiple asterisk processes…
