SuperNetTel.com offers a outbound SIP trunk for $30.00/mo. It allowed unlimited channels, and truly unlimited outbound calling. Recently, it was cancelled due to being “unavailable”.
In any event, I am attempting to use * for my business, strictly *. I am trying to avoide any interaction with my local telephone company altogether.
I am looking for something similar to the SuperNetTel.com plan which allows me unlimited outbound calling with unlimited channels (actually, 5 channels would be great). I really don’t want to have to deal with prepaying, or per minute charges (if I wanted that, I would run my business off of a freaking cell phone). I have searched, but most places do a fairly poor job of explaining what their service actually is, and what limitations they have placed on the service.
Anyone have any services for outbound SIP to PSTN?
i guess it must have been unsustainable then. the world is full of such short-terms offers. the marketing budget disappeared !
i think the reality is kicking in that such packages aren’t yet viable in the long term. unlimited calling and channels calls for a big investment, and shareholders want a return on their investment. somewhere, eventually, providers need to turn a profit.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that was going to be the answer, never a bad thing to find out though. Just out of curiosity, what are most call shops doing? PRI/BRI’s? If I have a SIP to PSTN from someone, I would assume that they are reselling anothers, or have PRI/BRI’s, is this assumption correct?
I don’t think a lot of sip ITSPs are reselling their PRI service… they often do resell SIP service from a bigger company / CLEC like XO or Level3. FWIW i think XO is accepting customers directly, i saw one of their dudes posting on the Wiki…
Since you are a call center (and thus probably push a lot of minutes) you could negotiate a decent rate for yourself…
I highly doubt you are going to find anything like $30 for 5 unlimited channels though.
