Res_jabber & res_xmpp in Asterisk 18

Hi community,
I am trying to integrate devstate with xmpp server but can’t find res_jabber in Asterisk 18. I can see res_xmpp though. Is the res_jabber removed in Asterisk 18 ?

The res_jabber module was removed as of Asterisk 13, and was replaced by res_xmpp in Asterisk 11.

So, i just have to do the configuration in xmpp.conf file that’s all?

I would probably try finding some more recent information. According to the HTTP headers, that page was last updated in 2016.

But trying to use the same configuration, with res_xmpp, would not hurt anyone.
