Registrations: Host (Unspecified)

Hi,

I installed Asterisk 1.8

Does anybody know why it looks like my registrations falls away after a little while of 2 Sip softphones. When i start the 2 X-Lite softphones, 1 outside my my NAT and the 2nd within my NAT. They register fine, i can make calls etc.

sip show peers show fine on start-up of X-Lite phones: (now i can make calls and worrks fine)

But if i type “sip show peers” after a while it shows the following and i cant make calls:

Arend-laptop (Unspecified) D N 63018 Unmonitored

if i restart the phones they register fine again.

Any idea?

how long is “after a while”? minutes, hours, days? do you have SIP configured at both ends to register periodically? try shortening the period.

Try the qualify=yes parameter in your sip peer definition.
