Phones Losing Registration

I’ve just built a new system with clean install of:
Debian 4.0
Asterisk 1.4.18
Zaptel 1.4.9.2
Libpri 1.4.3
Addons 1.4.6
freepbx

Problem that I’m having is that my phones are losing registration in less than an hour time frame? It happing with SIP and IAX phones? The only output i get is when the phone unregisters? Any ideas?? This does not happen with my asterisk 1.2 install??

there must be the parameter for register period on your phone.

change it to smaller such as 60 seconds. then every minutes it will register again.

Thanks for the response but I resolved the issue…
It was due to having a virtual nic…request would lose reg trying to reg with other ip
