i have setup the directory in the extensions.conf. it is working fine.
it used to spell the name of the directory entry, instead i wish asterisk to say the exact name of the person itself…
can anyone help me doing this ?
i believe Asterisk WILL say the name if you’re using a recent version of Asterisk and each mailbox owner has recorded his/her name in the system.
I use asterisk 1.2.4. it worked after recording a name for the mailbox.
