Problem installing AsteriskNOW. CentOS installed only

Hello:

I just downloaded Asterisk: AsteriskNOW-1.7.1-x86_64.

I mounted it with VMplayer. The problem is that the image is installing CentOS only. The manual says that I should be presented with some AsteriskNow menu. That doesn’t happens. In the end, CentOs CLI is presented. The CLI doesn’t recongize the asterisk -r command(I input it as root), don’t recognize the service command either. What am I doing wrong?

I installed again bypassing VMware “easy install” and it worked.

Hi. How do you bypass the easy install from VM player. I’ve got the same problem. Mounted Asterisk now.iso image but cant bypass easy install.

This is the most forum info I’ve found about install AsteriskNow on Vmware. Was there ever a resolution to your question?
