Is there a document on how to make my Polycom IP500 use a different ringer for each line? I presume it is using the SetVar(ALERT-INFO… type stuff in my dialplan. I just send it a special code depending on whether the call came in from my voip line or the TDMxxx zap line right? Yeah I know the phone has multiple line keys but I only what the one regestered with my Asterisk server. Very simple.
It can get kind of messy. You have to edit the polycom cfg files. It may take you a little bit. A simpler solution may be to change the caller ID and add a letter or two to the CID so you know what line it is.
