Outside email server

Hey everybody,

Just as a for-warning, I’m a bit new with Asterisk -

I know that Asterisk uses whatever mail service you might be running on your Linux box (Sendmail, Exim, whatever) - Is there a way in the configuration to have it use an alternative SMTP server? If so, in which config. file would I find this?

Alright, figured it out. I am using AsteriskNow (forgot to mention this). Realized it used Postfix as its SMTP service - Simply made the needed changes to /etc/postfix/main.cf - Added a relay, etc.
