This is the short story…
Have asterisk configured and everything works great… however, when you try to call my Sydney DID from New Zealand, you will get all the IVR and Menus but when you finally reach and call the extension you choose from the options, the caller will not hear a ringback or anything that’s giving you an idea that its still active and trying to reach the call.
On the receiving end however, the extension is ringing and call will connect when you answer the phone. But when the answering end takes time to answer the phone, the caller might drop the phone thinking that the call just drop as there are no ringing tone.
