This is probably easy answered by the experienced user, as I’m all new to Asterisk.
I’m working through THE book now, and updated my extensions.conf per the directions to:
[globals]
[general]
autofallthrough=yes
[default]
[incoming_calls]
[internal]
[phones]
include => internal
When I reload the dialplan and then show it on the CLI, I see the contents of it but also much more. The simple questions is: why? I think it may have something to do with extensions.ael, but I’m not sure about that and at the point in the book where I am this has not yet been covered.
