I would like to pace my conversion to Asterisk from my current PBX by first setting up Asterisk as an analog extention on that PBX. My current ACD is set now set up that way. The question is hpw can I make Asterisk do switch-hook transfers like my current system? If I can do this, the migration process can be slowed and any pain eliminated.

Any help is appreciated.

exten => _X.,2,SendDTMF(${EXTEN})
exten => _X.,3,Hangup()

then use Goto(blind-xfer-out,numbertoxferto,1) and the transfer will take place.

if your pbx requires a feature code (say #90) you can do it like this

exten => _X.,1,Flash()
exten => _X.,2,SendDTMF(#90${EXTEN})
exten => _X.,3,Hangup()
