Hello all. I’ve been programming PBX systems for quite a few years (IE; Toshiba, Esi, Avaya) and I have recently stumbled on Asterisk.
I haven’t downloaded it yet but I am amazed so far and just wanted to ask a couple questions before committing to building a box.

Is it really that simple? I was browsing over the freepbx info and it looks easier to config than some of the other systems I am more familiar with.

Anyone running it on a virtual box, pros/cons?
