Need help with Dahdi

I am new to the asterisk community. I have a Mac Mini with OS X 10.6.4. I am trying to compile Dahdi 2.4.0 and I keep getting the following message, “You do not appear to have the sources for the 10.4.0 kernel installed”. Would some one please explain what this means and how I would go about resolving this issue? I managed to find wget to work (apparently the Mac Terminal uses curl). Anyway, any assistance would be helpful. Thanks.

/usr/src/linux-10.4.0 is missing or not sufficiently complete.

Install the relevant packages - I don’t know what they will be called for OS-X, but you only strictly need the driver development subset.

Thanks for responding. Please forgive my ignorance, but how would I find out which ones I would need? Which ones would you use for linux? Maybe I can find an os x one if I new what it was called for linux.

It’s not called anything for Linux, as it is created by distributors.

For a CentOS system with kernel-2.6.18-128.1.6.el5.rpm as the kernel package, the development subset is kernel-devel-2.6.18-128.1.6.el5.rpm.
