Music on hold too loud!

My MOH is very, very, very loud even if I use quietmp3. How do I adjust the volume on this?

I’m using the sample sound files:
fpm-calm-river.mp3
fpm-sunshine.mp3
fpm-world-mix.mp3

musiconhold.conf

[default] mode=quietmp3 directory=/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3 format=ulaw

I have tried versions 0.59s and 0.65 of mpg123 but have the same results.

Is it loud for every caller? for sip trunks? for zap trunks?

I only tested it with SIP. I worked around it by re-encoding the mp3 as a wav. The issue seems to be with mpg123.
