Is rtptimeout compatible with rtpkeepalive?

Hello everyone,

rtpkeepalive=30 is used to send keepalives in the RTP stream to keep NAT open.

rtptimeout=60 allows to terminate call if 60 seconds of no RTP or RTCP activity.

My question is: will rtpkeepalive prevent rtptimeout from occuring? I would love to keep rtptimeout cause sometimes, when users hang up, the line tends to stay connected. So we assume that a total RTP or RTCP silence of 60 seconds would mean that nobody is really on the line. That will avoid excessive expense related to overbilling.

Thank you

Try it and see what happens. Call some where and pull the plug out of your phone and see what happens.
