How to Schedule calls using .call files

#1

hi ,
i need some help

scenario is ::->

suppose i want to auto dial out 10 numbers using .call files …

1)how can i do this … i mean scheduling i.e our asterisk should dial all numbers one by one …

2)when we restart our asterisk then after making one instance of .call file , .call file get deleted or get shifted

from /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing dir

to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/tempcall…

so i want to know is there any way by which we can stop it from delete or shifting

thanx in advance

Regards

Rajesh Choudhary.

i’m not following exactly what you are trying to do, but if you are looking at needing to originate several calls at once, on a set schedule, i would look at using the manager interface instead of .CALL files.

see here:

voip-info.org/wiki/view/Aste … +Originate

you could use any one of a number of technologies to connect to the manager and initiate the calls that way, and you’d probably have much better scheduling control. it’s also faster and less messy than using call files (we are using both techniques to initiate calls, and i MUCH prefer the manager interface)
